Second Saturday Gave Me Hope

"Everything was incredibly useful. I wish I had known about this before filing."

It's Not Just on Saturday Anymore

THE TRUSTED DIVORCE RESOURCE FOR WOMEN SINCE 1989

Attend an Award-Winning Second Saturday Workshop in South-Eastern Pennsylvania or Southern New Jersey

What happens at a Second Saturday workshop?

Although the format will vary from location to location there are many similarities.

Divorce can be one of the biggest, most challenging decisions you will ever make, and you don’t need to make it alone.

Because of this, we try to keep things simple and organized.  Our speakers include Family Law Attorneys, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Psychologists, Certified Financial Planners, and Certified Divorce Financial Analysts.

The attorneys deal with the state-specific laws governing divorce. They address topics including separation, spousal support, court orders, child custody, child support, equitable distribution, alimony as well as various ways to divorce such as litigation, mediation, arbitration and collaborative.

At some workshops, a family therapist helps with useful techniques and practices to deal with the sorrow of the death of your marriage, how to deal with your children and your spouse. Most importantly they provide you with suggestions of how to take care of yourself and how to move on with the rest of your life once the divorce is final.

The financial planner helps you to understand the magnitude of the financial challenge that you will face. They provide information and checklists that will help you to prepare for the initial meeting with your attorney.

They will help you to understand the various financial components that could be a part of your equitable distribution.  They will provide you with forms that will help you to create a new budget for your life post-divorce.

Our mission is to provide hope, information and support to women in this life transition, helping them move confidently towards independence.

We are proud to be a sponsor of Women to Watch.
